With Brock Osweiler out, where do the Houston Texans turn for help?

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- After the unprecedented trade of Brock Osweiler ,the question is, who will lead the Houston Texans offense next season? We've come up with a list of possible solutions below:

1. Tony Romo (Trade or free agent signing)

If Romo is released as a free agent, he undoubtedly could be the best option for the Texans. At this point in his career, Romo is focused on proving he still has what it takes to be among the NFL elite.

2. Tom Savage (Current roster)
Savage filled in for the Texans last season after dismal play from Osweiler. He took over against the Jacksonville Jaguars and started against the Cincinnati Bengals. If it wasn't for an injury, Savage may have been the starter in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

3. Via the NFL Draft
There should be a handful of quarterbacks to choose from in the upcoming NFL Draft. A quarterback, such as Deshaun Watson, would bring youth to the locker room. Watson is a proven winner with his comeback against Alabama to win the national championship.

4. Jimmy Garoppolo (Trade)
Garoppolo, the current backup quarterback in New England, has spent three seasons behind Tom Brady. Texans head coach Bill O'Brien was the offensive coordinator for the Patriots. Getting Garoppolo to Houston would be a long-shot.

5. Jay Cutler (Free agent)
Cutler was recently released by the Chicago Bears. In 2010, he led the Bears to the NFC Championship Game -- experience the Texans may find enticing.
