Investigators were called to the Post Oak at Woodway apartment complex and found one man suffering from a gunshot wound.
According to HPD, the 21-year-old man was robbed and shot after reportedly meeting up with someone at the complex to purchase a gaming console that he saw on the app Offer Up.
The man's family confirmed to ABC13 that he and his wife were there to purchase the item for their young son.
He was transported to Ben Taub Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police did not elaborate on a suspect description, and said there are no arrests at this time.
An investigation is currently underway.
