HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police are searching for the suspects who shot and killed a man in southeast Houston while trying to rob him and a friend.
The shooting took place at about 1:50 a.m. Thursday in the 12500 block of S. Green Drive.

Police said the man was found dead in the apartment complex's parking lot between two cars. A witness at the scene told officers he heard an argument, followed by at least three gunshots.
Investigators learned the victim and a friend were walking to the friend's car when two armed suspects confronted and demanded the car keys. The suspects then shot the victim multiple times. His friend was not hurt.

The suspects fled on foot. One suspect was described as a Black man with a slim build and was wearing a dark hoodie. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic man with a slim build, and was also wearing a dark hoodie.
