Wednesday, November 22, 2017
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Astros hope to jumpstart your holiday season with the second annual "Home Plate for the Holidays" next month at Minute Maid Park.

The free event will be held on Dec. 3 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. How's that to start the month?

According to the team, activities will include carolers, inflatables for kids, face painters, balloon artists, caricature artists, a station for letters to Santa and a fireworks show.

If you're still wanting to get an up close and personal look at the World Series Trophy, you are in luck. Fans will have a chance to take a photo with the trophy, but it'll set you back $35.

Note, a voucher must be purchased in order to attend the event and to take a photo with Orbit Claus in front of the manual scoreboard.
