2 men hurt in Montrose area hit-and-run

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are searching for the driver who hit two men and drove off early this morning. It happened in the Montrose area of Houston around 2:30 a.m. Monday.

Police say the men were standing in the street on Hyde Park Boulevard when a small, red SUV turned off the adjacent Helena Street and hit the men before driving off.

Investigators say the SUV was possibly a Kia Soul.

Both men are in the hospital but are expected to recover. One of the men reportedly suffered a broken leg in the accident.
