Police say that the driver failed to stop after hitting Holbert Benitez on Brittmoore Road and Hazelhurst Drive around 11:30 p.m.Thursday.
Surveillance video further shows that the car that struck Benitez never slowed down.
Benitez was a great father and hard worker, according to his family
Authorities are searching for a 2014- 017, light-colored Toyota Tundra truck with damage to the front-end.
Officers are also looking for more surveillance video to help identify the driver.
