HEB issues voluntary recall for Hill Country Fare bread

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- H-E-B has issued a voluntary precautionary recall for some of its bread.

Make sure to check your pantry for the H-E-B and Hill Country Fare sandwich bread with a best buy date of April 29 or earlier.

The recall is over the possibility of a single piece of rubber in the product.

Bread purchased in the San Antonio, Rio Grande Valley, Laredo and Corpus Christi stores are not impacted by the recall.

Customers who purchased the bread can return it to the store for a full refund and can call 1-855-432-4438 for questions or concerns.
