According to police, the discovery was made in the 2300 block of Avenue P1/2. Police said the department received an anonymous tip about the possibility of the remains at the scene.
Police said the scene was secured Wednesday night to preserve its integrity. On Thursday, crews were at the scene investigating and searching the area.
Some items were discovered and are undergoing more examination, police said.
