French embassy's French Cultures Festival at Discovery Green
The fifth annual French Cultures Festival kick-off concert features Laura Briard, The Blue Bonnets & They Call Me Rio, coordinated by the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Houston. The event runs fro 6 p.m. until 10 p..m. on Friday, March 10 at Discovery Green.

Lacenterra 10-year Anniversary Bash
The Katy shopping center's ten-year anniversary celebration runs from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 11. Head out to Heritage Square for all the festivities.



Avenida Grand Opening
Celebrate the re-opening of the renovated George R. Brown Convention Center with live music by the Tontons, street performers, aerial performance, fireworks and more. The party runs from 2 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 11.


Stargazing at Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center
Enjoy an evening learning about the moon, planets and stars from members of the North Houston Astronomy Club. Telescopes or binoculars are encouraged, and reservations are required. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 11.



Movie Under the Moon sponsored by First Colony Church of Christ
Bring your family, friends and lawn chairs to the Plaza to enjoy a free Movie Under the Moon brought to you by First Colony Church of Christ! This month's movie is the new live-action Jungle Book. The event lasts from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 11.

Spring Break Escape: Cirque La Vie
Catch a beautiful dynamic performance by contemporary circus troupe Cirque La Vie on The Square in Memorial City. The performance runs from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, March 13.
