East Houston recycling tank struck by lightning

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A recycling tank in east Houston was struck by lightning as storms moved through the area on Saturday.

Firefighters were able to control the fire at the facility that treats oil, antifreeze, gasoline and cleaning products.

No injuries were reported, and officials never had to issue a shelter-in-place.
