Plane forced to make landing at IAH after bird hit aircraft

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An airplane has been forced to make a landing at George Bush Intercontinental Airport after being struck by a bird.

Officials said the bird hit the plane's engine.

The plane landed shortly after 5 p.m.

No other details have been released.
