"I don't watch sports," she giggled. "I never could really get into it. I've never been to a football game. "
She couldn't tell an offside from a false start, a sack from an interception. But she knows JJ Watt.
"I see him everywhere on Facebook," she told Eyewitness News from her home in Livingston. "Yeah. I know who he is."
And that's what makes this story all the more fascinating.
It was 10:30 p.m. on Veteran's Day. Nina was scrolling through Facebook.
"Basically all of my Facebook friends are people I, like, know," she said. "I'm on it every day."
Those friends were posting photos of veterans and so she decided to rummage through her storage closet and take a picture of picture of her late grandfather Earl Holbert.
"He was a paratrooper in Germany," she said.

Almost immediately her friends noticed an uncanny resemblance.
"An old high school friend said he looked like JJ Watt and then several other people said that as well," she explained. "I see some resemblance. In the side by side, I can see it in the jaw [line]."
It is difficult to deny the similarities between the two when their photographs are placed side by side.
Holbert, Nina tells us, died in 2006 of a heart attack. He was on his property in Onalaska, a place he loved. Now more than a decade later, so many more are enjoying the memory of a man who served his country and how he resembles one who serves his community.
Neither we nor Nina have yet heard from JJ Watt. But if she did, Nina says she might start watching football.
