Two shot, one killed at NW Harris County apartment complex

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One person was killed and another person was injured at a northwest Harris County apartment complex Friday evening.

The first calls to police came in around 5:35 p.m. from the Avana Cypress Estates, 10802 Legacy Park Dr.

One person was dead inside a vehicle there.

Another person drove themselves to Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.
