Man stabbed to death by girlfriend near Wallisville, Harris County sheriff says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway after a woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death in east Harris County Sunday morning, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.

Deputies responded to the 2400 block of Heather Street at about 4:15 a.m., where a 46-year-old man was found with stab wounds on his back.

Responding deputies performed CPR on the man until he was air lifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the medical center, where he was pronounced dead.

The man's 35-year-old girlfriend stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Detectives said the couple was fighting with each other physically when the woman stabbed the man several times.

The woman was also transported to the hospital to be treated for her injures from the fight.



Neighbors told investigators that they were woken up by the woman pleading for help before they discovered she stabbed her boyfriend.

The case will be presented to a Harris County Grand Jury disposition.
