Authorities find 1,000 pounds of pot in avocados at Texas border

PHARR, Texas (KTRK) -- Federal agents seized over 1,000 pounds of marijuana at the Texas border with Mexico.

Customs and Border Protection agents in Pharr were scanning a trailer full of avocados when they saw something suspicious.

They looked inside and found 440 packages of pot. It's valued at $210,000. No word yet on any arrests.
