City of Houston hosts annual holiday tree lighting event

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Hundreds of people gathered in downtown Houston Friday night for the annual holiday tree lighting event.

The tall tree is decorated with energy efficient LED lights, ornaments and a large star topper.
