Death at Oaks Elementary School ruled a suicide

Thursday, March 9, 2017
HUMBLE, TX (KTRK) -- The body of a young man was found on the campus of Oaks Elementary School early Thursday morning.

Friends at the scene have identified the victim as a 16-year-old male who they say lived on the street directly behind the school. Authorities have not released his identity.

His body was found near the fence line along the back of the school's property.

The death has been ruled a suicide, and foul play does not appear to have been a factor.
