If bargains are what you're after, here's how to Black Friday like a pro:

1. Wear comfortable shoes
If you plan on darting from aisle to aisle and store to store, you are going to want to make sure you have something that is easy on your feet.

2. Leave heavy coats and handbags at home
The more you lug around, the more difficult it will be for you to zip through the store.

3. Know what you're looking for first
Before you make it out to the store, check out each store's sales ad so you can map out your route in the morning.

4. Know the stores you plan on shopping
In addition to knowing exactly the deals you want to buy, you should know the map of the stores you are planning to visit. Otherwise you may be stuck in the wrong section and you may miss the deal.

5. Download the stores' apps before Black Friday
Wi-fi can be hit or miss at big box retailers, so get the apps you need as well as coupon apps, that way you are not slowing down your shopping trip.

6. Be aware of door buster policies
Remember "door buster" deals are usually limited in quantity and most stores will not offer a rain check. So if you're not in line early on a hot item, be prepared to find it isn't available.

7. Price compare inside the store

While at the store shopping for Black Friday deals, be sure to use a price comparing app or search online to see if you're getting the best deal. Some brick and mortar retailers will price match against an online retailer.

8. Don't give up!
Just because you were not one of the first in line on Black Friday, doesn't mean you won't get the deal.

Items are restocked throughout the day to give shoppers a chance to get some of the other hot items to buy. You may not get that $400, 60-inch television but other small electronics and toys will be restock throughout the day.

9. Be sure to pack a snack and a drink.
If you plan on shopping most of the day, you will need a pit stop.
