Large apartment fire in NW Houston damages 16 units

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston fire crews responded to a fire in northwest Houston Thursday.

The wind-blown apartment fire happened at 6000 Hollister Street, where one building burned down. The fire was extinguished at 1:10 p.m., and 16 apartment units were affected.

No injuries were reported. Red Cross was dispatched to assist the residents.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
