Statewide Amber Alert for 2-year-old, 4-year-old near San Antonio discontinued, officials say

According to a bulletin sent by the Texas Dept. of Public Safety, the children were believed to be with 22-year-old Demetri Ortiz.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KTRK) -- An Amber Alert activated early Sunday morning in Texas for two small children who were last seen Saturday has been discontinued, according to officials.

A notification went out to mobile devices concerning 2-year-old Sienna Ortiz and 4-year-old Milo Ortiz.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said the children were last seen before 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 4700 block of Saddle Ridge, about 196 miles west of downtown Houston.
Officials believe the children were with 22-year-old Demetri Ortiz. The relationship between Ortiz and the children was not immediately disclosed.

Officials say the two children are believed to be with Demetri Ortiz, after last being seen in San Antonio around 7: 30 p.m.



In an update around 8:00 a.m., just under two hours after the alert was sent to cellphones, officials said the Amber Alert was discontinued.



No other information was given by officials.
