Amanda Cutrata, 37, of New Caney had, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, disappeared on March 2. Authorities and family members were gravely concerned because Cutrata is diagnosed with autism and requires support and assistance.
It was one of her family members who had reported her missing and told investigators she was last seen near her home in the 18000 block of Forest Lane Circle.
Then on Thursday, a staff member at Kingwood Hospital recognized Cutrata from the sheriff's office missing persons' flyer posted earlier this week. Deputies arrived at the hospital and confirmed it was Cutrata.
She has since been reunited with her family, authorities said.
During the investigation, detectives said Cutrata didn't have contact with her family or friends because she doesn't have a cell phone.
Detectives will be speaking with her about the circumstances of her disappearance.
