Beer truck slams into vehicle, forcing lane closures on 290

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- All lanes on Highway 290 at Hegar were shut down Thursday afternoon after an accident involving a beer truck and another vehicle.

According to the Hockley Fire Department, the driver of a SUV lost control and hit the side wall of 290. The beer truck couldn't stop in time and slammed into the SUV.

The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital. The driver of the beer truck did not report any injuries.
