Chef Hugo Ortega honored by James Beard Foundation

An interview with 2017 James Beard Foundation winner Hugo Ortega, who was named Best Chef Southwest. It was the sixth time he was a finalist for the award, considered the Oscars of the food world. Ortega is the executive chef at Caracol, Xochi and Hugo's Restaurants. He says he's proud to showcase the richly diverse cuisine of Houston to the world.
