2-story high geyser gushes for nearly 12 hours in Rice Village

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Public works crews worked to cap a geyser of water that flowed for hours overnight at Sunset and Shepherd in Rice Village.

The water shot two stories high after a car reportedly crashed into a hydrant around 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

The water was shooting into the air for nearly 12 full hours until around 4 a.m. on Tuesday.
