Amber Alert canceled for missing 13-year-old girl

PASADENA, TX (KTRK) -- A Houston Regional Amber Alert for a missing 13-year-old last seen near Bayshore Hospital in Pasadena Thursday afternoon has been canceled.

Briana Schatte went missing around 3pm September 10, according to her father, Walter Schatte. She has since been located safely.

Her father, who lives in Louisiana, says his daughter lives with his estranged wife and grandparents in Jacinto City.

Walter Schatte says the teenager tried to run away a couple weeks ago, but they tracked her down less than two hours later as she tried to make her way into Louisiana.

No other details were immediately available.
