Air Force plane crashes near mall in San Antonio
Investigators are in a field near Rolling Oaks Mall, where it appears the plane crashed, then skidded for some distance.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KTRK) -- Two pilots were able to eject safely before their Air Force T6 trainer plane crashed near a San Antonio mall.

Investigators rushed to the crash scene near Rolling Oaks Mall on Tuesday afternoon.

The plane skid for some distance after it went down, but there is still no word what caused the crash.

Neither pilot was injured in the incident, according to authorities.

Randolph Air Force Base is located about 9 miles southeast of the crash scene.
