Remembering Dep. Darren Goforth with Captain America shirts

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two weeks after his death, Harris County Sheriff's Office employees are remembering Deputy Darren Goforth with a very special tribute.

Today is "Goforths Captain America Day." Dispatch workers shared a photo, showing all of them wearing Captain America shirts.

You might remember the deputy and his son had purchased Captain America shirts so they could wear them together. They never had the chance.

Deputy Goforth was buried wearing his. They're inviting everyone to wear a Captain America shirt today.
