DALLAS, TX -- A veteran Dallas police officer has been charged with prostitution in an Arlington case from earlier this summer.

Investigators say Senior Cpl. Marqueon Skinner was being sought Wednesday on a warrant for an offense June 30. Further details on the incident were not immediately released. The warrant was issued Tuesday.

Dallas police say Skinner, who's been with the department since February 2004, has been put on administrative leave amid the Arlington investigation. Skinner was assigned to the police support services division.

Police did not immediately provide additional information on Skinner or an attorney to speak on his behalf.

Messages left with the Dallas Police Association were not immediately returned Wednesday.
