Navy veteran creates non-profit
A local military man is using his passion for boots to spread moral for the troops

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Navy veteran is now working to make a difference for American service members who are still working abroad.

Jimmy Wayne Rogers Jr. joined the Nayvy in 2011 and learned not only how to serve his country but also how to encourage others to give back.

Rogers graduated from 2006 Tomball High School. He left Virginia and moved back home to Tomball and is now focusing on being the founder of Boots For Troops, a non-profit organization he began in May.
