Thieves steal cash from southwest Houston convenience store ATM

A group of thieves ran into a convenience store and stole cash out of the ATM.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are looking for three men who robbed a southwest Houston convenience store.

It happened at the 24 Seven gas station in the 7100 block of West Orem and Hillcroft.

Police say three men wearing ski masks rushed into the store and headed towards the ATM located in the back of the business. They managed to break open the ATM and steal the cash inside.

All three men then took off on foot. Police began searching for the crooks, but the men are still on the loose.

The store clerk was inside the store at the time of the robbery. The clerk was not injured.

Houston police say there is surveillance video that may help them identify the thieves.
