HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A fight among a group of homeless people over who they felt was "in charge" ended with four people in the hospital early this morning.

It happened around 1am at Moody Park off Fulton and Collingsworth in north Houston.

Police say the group began arguing over who should be the leader, and the argument quickly escalated to violence. One man was shot and two other men and a woman were stabbed.

Two of the victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The condition of the other two victims is unknown.

Police say they are still investigating who did what during the fight.
