OLD TOWN SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- Police are reviewing surveillance video after crooks used a backhoe to smash their way into a firearms store in Old Town Spring.

Security footage showed burglars using a back hoe to smash into Warthog Firearms on Main Street. The break-in happened just before 3:00am.

Owner Joe Bargas told Eyewitness News that two men could be seen in the surveillance video. One man is behind the wheel of the backhoe. The second man is seen driving a pick-up truck right behind him.

Bargas said all the work yielded little reward.

"I'm laughing because everybody knows we put all our weapons away. They got one weapon that didn't work," said Bargas. "They had to use a backhoe to get into it. We've welded everything, put good security in it, and good locks on the front door."

If you recognize the truck or the men in the video, call the Harris County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. Deputies said they're looking into the possibility the burglars stole the back hoe from nearby construction sites.
