Two men shot in southwest Houston after argument ends in gunfire

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two men are in the hospital with gunshot wounds after a shooting in southwest Houston.

The shooting happened around midnight at an apartment complex in the 6300 block of Windswept Lane at Unity Drive.

The two victims were sitting on a tree stump outside the apartment complex when two other men got out of a silver Chevrolet or Honda and began arguing with the men on the stump. The two men from the car then opened fire on the two sitting men.

One of the victims was shot once. The second victim was shot twice.

The driver and passenger of the car sped off and have not yet been arrested.
