As you know, the number of homeless cats and dogs in our area is staggering. Local shelters BARC and Friends for Life are teaming up to bring this spay and neuter services directly to the residents in some Houston neighborhoods...for FREE! The goal is to cut down on the births of unwanted animals and in turn help reduce the number of animals euthanized in our area.

Starting this Saturday, free spay/neuter services are being offered to Houston residents. You do not have to be a resident of the neighborhoods where the clinics are setting up-just have to be a Houston resident. Bring a current ID and a bill showing your Houston address. These events are on a first-come, first-served basis. But, organizers say if they cannot get to your pet this Saturday, they will schedule another time to get your pet spayed or neutered for FREE the following week.

Check-in begins at 6:30am.
