HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Authorities say several pieces of jewelry and guns were stolen during a home burglary in March in west Houston. Now, police are asking for the public's help to identify those responsible for the burglary back in March.

Houston police say the homeowners were notified by their alarm company that their home in the 31000 block of Newcastle was broken into around 12:15pm, just over an hour after the homeowners left the house.

Houston police say the intruder or intruders broke out a glass door in the back of the home to gain entry. When the homeowners arrived, they found the back door busted out and the front door open wide.
