3-year-old girl drowns in pool at League City home

LEAGUE CITY, Texas (KTRK) -- A 3-year-old girl drowned in a pool at a home Friday night in League City, officials said.

It happened around 6 p.m. on Willow Pointe Drive.

Emergency crews transported the girl to the hospital with CPR in progress. She later died.

There is no word yet on the circumstances of her drowning.
