Friendswood teen charged in child porn case

FRIENDSWOOD, TX (KTRK) -- A Friendswood teenager is accused of attempting to distribute digital images of child porn.

Jeanri Dubeson Harris, 17, is charged with promotion child pornography.

Court papers show a tipster alerted the Webster Police Department last August to possible child pornography images and video uploaded to a Tumblr account.

Authorities traced the account to a Friendswood address. Authorities say during a search of the home, the teen confessed to using the Tumblr account and posting child porn there and on another Instagram account, as well.

Court records indicate boys as young as approximately 2 years old were seen with adult men in the images posted on the accounts.

Harris is due in court Friday.
