Woman found shot to death on walking trail in NW Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities are investigating after they say a woman was found shot to death on a walking trail in northwest Houston.

Houston police say they responded to reports of a body on a walking trail at 1801 Sherwood Forest around 7:00 a.m.

Officials told ABC13 the woman was found shot in the head. They're working to determine what led up to the shooting.
