HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Someone opened fire at a house party in north Harris County overnight, and then partygoers started throwing things at a deputy trying to make an arrest.
No one was hit by gunfire. The first deputy arrived on the scene in the 15000 block of Chrisman and Connorvale just before midnight. She tried to break up the party.
A man tried to leave in his car and hit a van. The deputy tried to arrest him. That's when the crowd started throwing things.
A medic and a photographer helped the deputy arrest him. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
