Former COCISD teacher and coach charged with improper relationship with student

COLDSPRING, Texas (KTRK) -- A former high school teacher and coach is charged with having an improper relationship with a student.

Meredith Null, 29, was a teacher at Coldspring-Oakhurst High School before voluntarily resigning on Feb. 7.

The district hasn't given details of the relationship, but is cooperating with authorities during their investigation.

Null was arrested on Feb. 14 and released on a $10,000 bond.
