Wrong way driver crash on North Beltway creates Christmas travel delays

Morning commuters were gifted a traffic nightmare as a wrong way driver crash in north Houston caused delays.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A wrong way driver crash gave commuters a traffic headache early Tuesday morning.

The accident happened around 8:49 a.m. when a red Toyota crashed into a grey Chevy on North Beltway 8 and Lee Road.

No injuries were reported at the scene.

It is not known at this time which vehicle was driving the wrong way.
