Free vaccinations this week for needy children, elderly

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Harris County is offering free immunizations this week to children and elderly in need.

The Troubleshooters Immunization Program, which is supported by the Harris County Hospital District Foundation, will be providing free vaccinations at community centers at the following locations:

St. Benedict Catholic Church - Wednesday, January 28

Robert Carrasco Clinic - Thursday, January 29

Community Family Centers - Friday, January 30

The program is operated by a combination of grants and community donations. Its largest fundraiser is The Texas Med Fun Run is a 5K, l0K, and lK Fun Run on February 7th at Ben Taub Hospital. The Race begins at 8am. Registration is open now at www.TexasMedFunRun.com.
