Reward offered for Katy credit card theft

KATY, TX -- Fort Bend County Crimes Stoppers, Inc. will pay a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect involved in a theft case at a fitness center that also included credit card fraud.

On Oct. 9, 2014, a suspect stole a man's wallet and keys out of a locker at the 24-Hour Fitness in the 5200 block of State 99. The suspect then used stolen credit cards at the Target in the 23700 block of Westheimer Parkway and then at the HEB, located in the 6700 block of South Fry Road, both in the Katy area. The suspect charged almost $2,000 on the victim's cards.

The suspect is a white male, estimated to be in his late 20s or early 30s. He is about 5-feet, 8-inches tall and was wearing a purple pullover knit shirt, khaki pants, black shoes and a green baseball cap with sunglasses on top of the cap's brim.
