HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Before his coaching career flourished, former Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak was a record-setting quarterback at St. Pius X High School.
Kubiak once set a then-state record 6,190 yards passing as a quarterback. He was all all-state in football, basketball, baseball and track.
After high school, Kubiak went on to coach at Texas A&M before jumping to the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens.
