Sugar Land woman allegedly shoots husband in face after he poured bleach on her

SUGAR LAND, Texas (KTRK) -- A Sugar Land woman is accused of shooting her husband after police say he poured bleach on her.

Police were called to the 2800 block of Great Lakes Avenue just after midnight.

The husband was shot in the face and the abdomen and flown to the hospital, where his condition is unknown.

His wife was taken in for questioning. Police said the couple's fighting escalated with the shooting.
