Chase suspect on the run after bailing out of car in west Houston
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police are looking for a suspect accused of pointing a gun at a deputy constable after a short traffic pursuit in west Houston.
Houston Police officers and Harris County Precinct 5 Constables are at the scene at 2121 Kirkwood, north of Westheimer and Briar Forest.
There are very few details, but what we do know is a suspect bailed out of the vehicle and ran into The Steeples apartment complex on Kirkwood.
Now officers have every exit and entrance to the complex blocked off as authorities search for the suspect.
Police and deputy constables are using K-9 units to search for the suspect.
They want to make sure this suspect cannot get away.
Precinct 5 is expected to give an update shortly on what is happening, but so far, it does not appear they have the suspect in custody.
