Video shows frantic effort to rescue man from subway tracks

BROOKLYN, New York (KTRK) -- Intense video shows frantic cries for help as people try to save a man who fell unconscious on subway tracks in Brooklyn, New York.

Terrified witnesses yelled at the train to stop, all while the man was lying unconscious.

After the train stopped, three people lifted the man onto the platform.

The man who fell is in serious condition at the hospital.

It's not clear what caused him to fall.
