Questions remain after father kills 2 children then himself near Fort Worth

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (KTRK) -- Two children and their father are dead after a violent murder-suicide near Fort Worth.

Police in North Richland Hills still have no motive as to why a father killed his two young children and then himself.

The bodies of a 9-year-old boy, a 5-year-old girl and their father were found inside the family's home on Saturday morning.

Investigators said their mother was home at the time of the shooting, and was the one who called 911.
