Woman pushing grocery cart dies after being run over

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police say a woman has died after she was run over by a car in northwest Houston.

The accident happened at Wirt and Kilburn.

Investigators said the woman was crossing the street with a shopping cart when a driver hit her.

The driver stopped to call 911.

Charges are not expected against the driver who stopped to render aid, according to police.
