CPS: Harvey victims in need of car seat donations
CPS says car seats are in high demand after Harvey damaged thousands of cars across the Houston area.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It's an all too familiar sight after Harvey: Cars destroyed by floodwater.

But, we often forget the items inside that were also ruined. That includes car seats.

Because of the disaster, CPS is asking Houstonians to donate brand new infant and toddler car seats to Harvey victims.

The Region 6 office said it needs about 50 brand new car seats for infants or toddlers, a CPS spokeswoman said.
